About the Role

We are seeking a PMO Analyst to join the Program Management Office. In this role, you will support the effective delivery of a new programme by assisting team members across all streams and collating information to ensure visibility and governance for the PCB and executive team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing program and project RAID registers, maintaining an overview of project statuses within the Market Readiness Program, and reporting trends, variances, and issues to the PMO Team.
  • Performing and supporting Program Management Office functions as defined by the PMO Manager, including creating and enhancing PMO processes, guides, templates, and tools based on user feedback and industry best practices.
  • Collecting information from project managers and staff to enable effective project and program reporting, maintaining the Program knowledge repository in MS Teams.
  • Working with the P&C team to support effective onboarding of staff joining or moving between projects, ensuring they are familiar with the ways of working, meeting cadence, and have access to necessary information and systems.
  • Supporting Project Managers in planning and tracking project deliverables, activities, and dependencies for input into the Integrated Program Schedule.
  • Providing admin support to the PMO, including workshop and meeting administration, and maintaining the knowledge repository.
  • Supporting the development, tracking, and reporting on Project and Program Budgets, providing input to the finance team for sound financial control of the program.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience of project and PMO practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in managing project and program reporting.
  • Experience with the development and management of budgets.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and tools.
  • Ability to work within and improve existing Project Management methodology.
  • Experience in IT vendor relationship and contract administration.
  • Ability to critically analyse and review current work processes and procedures to identify and implement improvements.
  • Experience in Government or Utilities sectors are highly desirable.
  • Qualifications or certifications in a relevant discipline (Project Management, Prince2, PMP, Agile, SAFe, P3O).
  • Experience working within a Program or Portfolio Management Office (Agile or Waterfall).
