The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for a Perway Patroller to join our team based in Kalgoorlie. As the Perway Patroller, your primary responsibility will be to patrol, inspect and report on the condition of our railway infrastructure in accordance with the Railway Code of Practice and to carry out (or arrange) repairs of our infrastructure as per our maintenance procedures. The position is best suited to candidates who are happy to spend time working alone, participate in an on-call roster and regularly be away from home. Monday to Friday roster with 3-4 night camping away per week; 9.5hour working day.

The role is based in Kalgoorlie and we are looking for candidates that live in Kalgoorlie (or surrounds). 

 

About You

To be successful in this role we need you to have: 

  • Good working knowledge of track maintenance and procedures (at least 2 years relevant experience)
  • Sound planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • WA Manual driver's licence (unrestricted)
