About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Perway Patroller to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As a Perway Patroller, you will be responsible for patrolling and inspecting the condition of our railway infrastructure, reporting any issues, and carrying out repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and inspect railway infrastructure to ensure compliance with the Railway Code of Practice
  • Report any issues or defects to the maintenance team
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks as required
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Participate in an on-call roster and be away from home for extended periods
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of track maintenance and procedures (at least 2 years relevant experience)
  • Sound planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • WA Manual driver's licence (unrestricted)
