Our long standing client of over 11 years, who are a leading Australian manufacturing organisation based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is looking to replace a long standing employee as they venture into retirement.

Based at their Lilydale site, this role will have a reporting line to the CBD head office CFO as well as a daily reporting line to the Plant Manager.

You will oversee one Finance staff member based onsite and be responsible for:
- Plant operational and financial reporting;
- Prepare and manage the budget for the site and variance analysis;
- Build and manage the financial forecast;
- Coordinate the product costing process and control related master data;
- Participate in the development of the three year strategic plan;
- Manage full month end site reporting and dashboards;
- Oversee all inventory accounting and adjustments;
- Partnering with business heads to deliver accurate financial advice and support and be part of the site leadership team in assisting with cost reductions and increased revenue across the site;
- Managing the Fixed Assets;
- Ensuring compliance and safety policies are maintained across the site.

You must come from a strong manufacturing background with solid costing/site based accounting experience. You will be CA/CPA qualified.

This role is based at the Lilydale site 5 days per week with some flexibility when required.
