JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Key Account Manager at Levi Strauss & Co. reporting into the Wholesale Director (ANZ), you are responsible for maintaining and further developing current business accounts with the objective of achieving profitable business growth. The role is also responsible for achieving sales and business objectives, including liaising with Levi’s Merchandise and Supply Chain to ensure the Retailers needs are being met, including leading online fashion retailer The Iconic and luxury department store David Jones.

Our ideal candidate:

Holds tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline.

Has a minimum of five years account management experience within an apparel retail service environment. 

Has the ability to positively impact revenue and profitability.

Possesses strong negotiation skills

Is creative and entrepreneurial: Looking beyond existing parameters and methods of operating with the objective of strengthening the Company’s position and maximising productivity and profitability.

Maintains energy and enthusiasm; Driven to “make their mark”.

Consistent and objective. Demonstrates consistency and objectivity in decision making, methods of operating and in dealing with people and situations.

Is strategic and conceptual. Demonstrates the ability to conceptualise strategies and plans that will meet both the immediate and long term objectives of the organisation.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Strategy and policy development.

Account Management.

Revenue generation.

General stakeholder management.

The preparation and maintenance of the Customer Business Development Plan, which identifies strategies and philosophies which will result in business growth. The communication of these strategies and philosophies to the Retailer.

The implementation of practices and procedures that will increase the profitability of the Retailer and Levi’s®, specifically by maximising opportunities to generate sales and profit and the simultaneous control of operating expenses.
