The Star Sydney is currently looking for Cooks to join our Culinary team to start or continue to develop their careers. This is a great opportunity for aspiring chefs to learn and grow alongside some of the best Chefs in Sydney.

Based on your experience and interest you will be placed in one of our casual and signature dining venues that include:

Sokyo - Sydney's most popular Japanese restaurant (according to Trip Advisor, Jan 24)Food Quarter - main gaming floor, In Room Dining - servicing our 5 star hotelsCommissary - behind the scenes, production operationFuel - Sports bar's busy food outletHarvest - Sydney's most popular buffet (according to Trip Advisor, Jan 24)Banquets & Events

Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is desired Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume operation Exceptional eye for detail The right "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn new cuisines and techniques. Flexibility to work and commit on a rotating roster that can include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
