Purpose of the Role: Join our team as a Compliance Governance Manager in Growth Operations, a critical role designed to support our ongoing company growth. You will be an integral part of the Compliance Advisory team, focusing on delivering best practice 2nd Line compliance across our Growth Operations division. This role will ensure our external partnerships are well-informed and compliant through proactive communication and a strong engagement framework, particularly in marketing and strategic partnerships.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Provide quality and timely compliance advice to internal stakeholders, especially in marketing and strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery and achievement of the approved Compliance Plan.
  • Review and approve collateral as a compliance subject matter expert (advertising, procedures, training materials, website content, etc.).
  • Undertake 2nd line assurance and monitoring across Partnerships & Alliances.
  • Identify opportunities for system, process, and product improvements while providing compliance advice.
  • Design and manage compliance education and awareness programs to promote a positive culture of compliance.
  • Manage the collation and escalation of compliance insights to Committees, Boards, and other relevant risk and compliance forums.
  • Role model A&G’s values in all interactions with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit roles within financial services.
  • Experience with reviewing product disclosure documents and marketing materials in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance risk management frameworks, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Preferred).
  • Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit qualifications and memberships to relevant professional bodies highly regarded.
