Ngala Early Learning Claremont is a recently developed, spacious and growing childcare Centre located a 5-minute walk from the Showgrounds Train Station. The Centre boasts large indoor and outdoor play areas, a dedicated art room, and great child to Educator ratios. As a team, our focus is on providing our children with a range of learning activities and ensuring their days are fun, stimulating and full of joy.

About the Role
We’re looking for dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educators and Room Leaders to join the team.
Educators will be instrumental in shaping the early educational experiences of young learners, working closely with our Early Childhood Teacher to nurture children’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment. Full-Time and Part-Time (11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday) options are available.
Room Leaders will work alongside a team of Educators to deliver child focused care to children 0-6 years of age and ensure Educators adhere to all policies and procedures and support their development by providing supervision, mentoring, and leading by example. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the Early Childhood Curriculum and plan and implement accordingly. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday to Friday. Early Childhood Teachers are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do as the Educator
- Craft and deliver fun, age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) for Educators
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) for Room Leaders
- Relevant experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Room Leaders will have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Full-Time staff will have flexibility to work rotating shifts during operating hours.
In addition, preferred candidates will need to provide the following:
- Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
As part of our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation, successful candidates are required to provide their Immunisation History Statement.
While immunisations are highly encouraged, they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
