We are searching for a motivated cook who shows the prior experience in cooking and have a great passion for cooking. 

To be successful candidate, you should be familiar with the Chinese cuisine, have a basic knowledge of cookery as well as the food safety regulations. You should have a basic understanding of cookery, know the basic cooking methods and dishes seasoning, familiar with Chinese food and the way they are prepared, have a certain understanding of food safety as well.

Qualification:

AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

Skills requirement:

Strong knowledge of cooking methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment

Your duties for the role are as follows:

1        Prepare the food with a variety of dishes, ensuring they meet the standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.

2        Cook food and sauces in accordance with orders, including cooking methods like steamed, poached and fried, etc.

3        Create dishes tailored to specific dietary needs, such as allergies, intolerances, and individual preferences.

4        Assist in training other kitchen staff and apprentices, sharing culinary knowledge and best practices to maintain high standards across the team.

5        Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements based on anticipated guest demand and seasonal availability.
