Senior Clinical Psychologist

An opportunity currently exists for experienced Grade 3 Senior Clinical Psychologist to work on a temporary part time basis (parental leave cover until December 2024) within the Specialist Medical Inpatient Service at Western Health. This service provides consultancy to a number of wards including the Intensive Care Unit, acute general medical and surgical units, coronary care, and sub-specialty medical and surgical services.
The Clinical Psychologist will work alongside Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff, to provide Best Care for the community of the West. In this role, you will also work alongside other Psychologists in the broader Specialist Medical Inpatient Service – which includes Neuropsychology, Health Psychology and Clinical Psychology.
In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing highly skilled psychological assessment, individual and group interventions, and psychoeducation, and work alongside a team of passionate and highly-skilled Psychologists at Western Health. Depending on your experience, support of postgraduate trainees on fieldwork placement, and Psychology Registrars will also be required.
