• Registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) – Psychology Board of Australia
• Qualified with postgraduate training (Masters, Doctorate, or PhD)
• In possession of, or willing to acquire, suitable Professional Liability Insurance
• A member of the Australian Psychological Society and have demonstrated the ability to comply with the profession’s code of ethics and practice following legislation affecting psychology practice for maintenance of registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Registered with Medicare for service provision or are eligible and willing to obtain registration before the commencement of the role
• In possession of a valid Working with Children’s Check

Position Summary :

Wise Psychology is a fully online psychology clinic devoted to sustainability, integrity, and thoughtfulness.

You will work from your chosen office to provide superb psychological services to motivated clients, using the provided digital tools to stay connected with the team.

Key Requirements :

You must have;

• Three years of experience delivering in-person services and at least one year of telehealth delivery experience
• Demonstrated skill in working as part of a multidisciplinary team with a sound understanding of your role as a Psychologist
• Experience and interest in the provision of clinical, evidence-based assessments and interventions
• with individuals presenting with mild to moderate mental health conditions, or complex presentations related to cognitive impairment/suspected cognitive impairment
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on interpersonal communication, the establishment of trust and rapport, and good record-keeping

Job Responsibility :

It is your responsibility to;

• Conduct psychological assessment and treatment via Wise Psychology’s approved Telehealth software.
• Manage your electronic calendar and client appointments to ensure stability and sustainability within the therapeutic relationship
• Communicate with other professionals internally and externally using Wise Psychology’s digital tools
• Conduct initial client intake engagement tasks such as initial phone calls/emails with prospective clients, and then assist with client onboarding procedures
• Complete administrative and clinical tasks following legislative requirements and Wise Psychology policy
• Ensure maintenance of clients' privacy and confidentiality following organisational policy, cultural protocol, and professional ethics
• Engage in Wise Psychology’s Professional Development and supervision requirements

Peer supervision and Professional Development

Our Clinical Director provides all of our psychologists with operational and clinical support. Additionally, we host a range of peer supervision and professional development opportunities to meet your learning needs. We also provide a structured and supportive first 90-day onboarding process, alongside an informal clinical and non-clinical buddy system for new team members. We are committed to providing first-class learning opportunities through both online and in-person mediums.
