You will manage the Finance Customer Service Officers by providing guidance and motivation daily to ensure that the maximum amount of overdue debt is collected for the users of the Ambulance Service.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise, manage and motivate the Finance Customer Service Officers on a daily basis to ensure that department targets are reached
  • Monitor phone system to ensure phones are covered
  • Handled and respond to call escalations in line with SJA policy
  • Conduct daily reviews and action outstanding debts
  • Ensure complaints are recorded and responded to in line with SJA policy
  • Provide administration support when required to ensure tasks are completed to St John standards and in line with the requirements of the Finance Department
  • Respond to emails in line with SJA policy
  • Run and monitor KPI’s weekly

What you’ll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise with customers
  • Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in negotiating and conflict resolution
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience in debt recovery
