About the Opportunity

We are seeking an APS6 Project Officer for a 12-month contract with a strong possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Geelong, some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.

About the Role

The Service Design Division collaborates with stakeholders to design and implement improvements to the Scheme, delivering quality outcomes for participants and enhancing their experience with the agency. The Division focuses on creating process, platform, and practice solutions that address Agency priorities and embeds co-design and a stakeholder-focused approach into our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules in line with the Agency’s project management framework.
  • Provide specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
  • Perform independent research and analysis, including drafting reports on project activities.
  • Coordinate regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
  • Contribute to project quality management to ensure deliverables meet client needs and are fit for purpose.

Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Experience in preparing draft written material, including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation.
