About our role:

Reporting to the Research and Development Manager (R&D) we are now seeking an experienced and talented Senior Food Technologists to join the National R&D team based at Lidcombe.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with marketing, industrial, quality and procurement to manage projects from feasibility stage through to launch, including developing timelines and designing to a target formulation cost whilst monitoring overall PCI impacts to the project.
  • Develop clear reporting on risks and provide recommendations and solutions for mitigation plan.
  • Develop new products and process as part of the innovation pipeline for the relevant category.
  • Identify and Improve on existing product through renovation projects.
  • Lead the launch of product innovation,

About you:

  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Degree in food science/technology, food/chemical engineering, biochemistry, nutrition, microbiology or chemistry or food-related postgraduate qualification or similar.
  • Dairy or FMCG industry experience with new product development (NPD) is desirable.
  • Will have strong end-to-end product development and project management experience.
  • The ability and passion to mentor and assist in the development of members of the food technologist team.
