About the role

We have two opportunities available to join us as a Senior Procurement Advisor (SPA):

    • Permanent role – this role will be BAU and will work on all aspects of the SPA role.
    • 12-month fixed term role – this role will be project based and will focus on uplifting the business to align to the APRA CPS230 regulatory changes. The role will be pivotal in uplifting the policies, tools, processes and contracts in order for compliance.

As a Senior Procurement Adviser (SPA), you will work with multiple Business units to; advise, develop, execute and manage procurement initiatives and plans. You will operate with the utmost integrity and professionalism whilst applying a commercial mindset, to efficiently and effectively deliver outcomes that mitigate risk and optimise commercial benefit to Australian Retirement Trust (ART) and its members.

You will have a proven track record in effective category/spend management, senior stakeholder management and an innate ability to apply a commercial lens to help solve business challenges. In this role, you will be comfortable operating in a strategic capacity, whilst also being able to execute tactically to drive towards successful procurement outcomes for ART and its supplier base.

We are flexible with location provided you can attend the office at least twice a week.

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement management and the procurement lifecycle.
  • You have demonstrated experience in managing suppliers and contracts, specifically within a category management environment.
  • You have great stakeholder management skills, able to assert and influence at various levels.
  • You can manipulate and analyze market and spend data.
  • You can utilize data analysis to inform business strategy.
  • You can develop and implement commercial strategies.
