Statistical Analyst - EMEA based position

We are currently seeking a Statistical Analyst to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Statistical Analyst at ICON Plc, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clinical trial activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality statistical analyses. Your expertise will contribute to the development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and various deliverables while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

What you will be doing:

Support study start-up activities, providing valuable input on study design, protocols, and case report forms.

Write statistical methods sections of study protocols, including sample size and power calculations, with oversight.

Assist in the development of statistical analysis plans and create table shells.

Review database specifications and lead the initial review of raw variables. Develop written specifications for derived variables from oral descriptions.

Program basic and specialized statistical procedures, such as repeated measures and survival analysis, using SAS/Graph.

Create complex macros for efficient group use.

Develop deliverables, including project reports, graphs, and tables, with close oversight.

Contribute to writing methods and results sections of final reports and publications, including abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts, with guidance.

Maintain effective communication with clients or investigators as required.

Participate in professional activities, including technical conference presentations (e.g., SAS meetings, ISPOR), under supervision.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Proficiency in statistical programming languages, particularly SAS. Familiarity with R or Python is advantageous.

Previous experience in a clinical research setting is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
