We are currently seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants andLaundry Assistants to join the team providing support services atBethanie Fields Aged Care Home located in Eaton. Co-located with aretirement village, Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designedspecifically to provide support for people who need 24 hour care,including those with special care needs and dementia.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience incleaning or laundering and be of a friendly nature, as interactionwith our residents is core to our culture.

These roles are offered on a permanent part time basis, workingat least three shifts per week.

Domestic Assistant shifts are available onMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7.30am –3pm

Laundry Assistant shifts are available onTuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am – 2pm

About You

Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner or Laundry Assistant, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)

The Role

Domestic Assistant

Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy Ensuring supplies are stocked across the facility Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met Ensuring residents' personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending

Laundry Assistant

Ensuring all laundry and linen is laundered correctly and infection control practices are adhered to Sorting and washing linen by wash temperature, colour, degree of soiling, infectious nature, fabric and fibre Loading and unloading washing machines and tumble dryers Sorting and folding clean and dry linen Reporting damage or wear and recommending repairs or replacement
