Our client, a Market Leading Wealth Management Group is seeking a driven and motivated Associate Investment Adviser to join their growing business which provides full-service stockbroking, financial planning, superannuation, funds management and fixed interest services to their clients.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the individual to build a successful client advisory book of clients whilst further refining and developing their capability and knowledge base. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop strong technical ability and drive strategy & advice innovation.
  • Be mentored by senior members of the Investment Advisory Team, and develop the knowledge and skills required to transition into a role as an Investment Adviser.
  • Actively build advisory business, source new clients and establish client relationships using networking/referral processes and marketing initiatives.
  • Collect and analyse financial and investment information in order to provide sound financial and investment advice to clients.
  • Assess client’s financial objectives and provide appropriate recommendations that comply with their risk parameters/financial objectives.
  • Provide an investment service for clients and invest funds in a manner consistent with their financial objectives.
  • Provide superior client service that builds strong client relationships.
  • Maintain client portfolios on a regular basis. This includes Providing timely advice to clients, Reassessing clients financial objectives, Revising clients investment strategies inline with their financial objectives.
  • Manage the overall client relationship and communication process, ensuring regular contact and the provision of a professional and personalised service.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • RG146 compliant
  • Have a University Degree in Business / Commerce / other finance related discipline
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to build internal and external stakeholder networks
  • Strong advisory and selling skills
  • Time management skills, including ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously whilst providing quality service
