About our Nurses: Nurses are at the heart of our team and we would not be able to do what we do without our amazing nurses. Now, SASH is looking for another Critical Care Nurse to join the team and that's where you come in

  • Provide care to our patients from admission through to discharge
  • A passionate team working together to achieve amazing results across a variety of complex cases
  • Training and development provided by our dedicated nurse educators.

About You: We are looking for a passionate Medicine Nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for a nurse with the following skills:

  • A keen interest in emergency and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in general anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. A training program will be developed for the right person to support their ongoing learning and development
  • Confidence working in an extremely busy environment

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • Available to work overnights shifts 
  • A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
  • Previous experience in emergency nursing would be highly regarded but is not essential.
