What’s the opportunity? As Senior Internal Auditor at Tyro you'll contribute to crafting reports for the Board Audit Committee, shaping the annual Internal Audit Plan, and promoting internal control and corporate governance principles across the organisation. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you may oversee and assess the work of fellow audit professionals, including external service partners. 

Key responsibilities include:

Strategically plan, execute, manage, and meticulously document all aspects of allocated audit projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.  Take the initiative in driving the delivery of audit projects, anticipating potential challenges, and implementing effective problem-solving strategies independently.  Perform internal audit work in strict accordance with organisational policies and established internal methodologies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.  Assist in the development of comprehensive internal audit testing plans, leveraging insights and expertise to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of audit procedure.  Demonstrate a deep understanding of root cause analysis techniques and apply them proficiently to identify underlying issues and inform strategic recommendations.  Provide insightful and constructive recommendations focused on enhancing internal controls and achieving organisationalobjectives, adding tangible value to business operations.  Leverage extensive experience in managing multiple audit projects simultaneously, collaborating effectively with diverse team members to ensure successful project outcomes. 

What you will bring:

Previous experience in a big 4 accounting firm or similar Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently. Strong knowledge of auditing principles and practices  Advanced analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
