THE OPPORTUNITY
Stratco’s manufacturing and roll form facility is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Production Team Member (Sheet Metal) to join their operations team to manufacture and assemble products for our trade and retail customer base.
This is permanent, full-time opportunity working an 8-hour Day Shift (6am - 2.06pm) or Afternoon Shift (2:54pm - 11:00pm).
Location: Canning Vale
Hourly Rate: $73,150 to $80,000 depending on relevant trade qualifications and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
- Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipment
- Picking and packing products
- Interpreting product drawings
- Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail and be quality assurance focused
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Essential - Experience using Sheetmetal manufacturing equipment, particularly roll form machines and metal bending machinery (folders, press & breaks)
- Essential - Strong mechanical aptitude
- Essential - At least an AQF Certificate III in Engineering or similar – Sheet Metal
- Desirable - At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Commitment to producing quality products
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
