About the Role

This is a 0.4 position with a 0.6 Teaching load.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Global Director of Digital Learning (GDDL) and Regional Directors of Teaching and Learning to fully embed Digital Learning tools regionally, in alignment with the OneSchool Global vision and Learning to Learn Framework.

  • Liaise with a range of parties to drive digital learning within the Learning to Learn Framework.
  • Project manage the development and implementation of Digital Learning tools with direction and support from the GDDL.
  • Integrate, manage and fully embed Digital Learning tools Regionally.
  • Lead and promote innovation by contributing to the T&L team.
  • Communicate best practice in digital tool use within the Learning to Learn framework.
  • Oversee regional platform development with the IT and Teaching and Learning teams.
  • Support the Regional Director of IT to ensure global standards for hardware are adhered to and campuses are supplied with and utilising equipment in line with global guidance.
  • Lead the work of the Regional Digital Platforms Manager (DPM) and relevant stakeholders to oversee the integration of digital Learning tools – Evaluation, implementation, training administration and monitoring.
  • Ensure selection and governance of Digital Learning Platforms aligns with Global procedure for resource approval.
  • Promote the effective use of the Global Hub for all resource approval.
  • Liaise with the DPM to ensure usage statistics drive priorities for stakeholder engagement and training.
  • Lead the work of the Digital Learning Coaches (DLCs) to develop a regional onboarding / training plan for teachers and Campus Leaders.
  • Promote and develop the implementation of digital technologies.
  • As part of the Global Digital Learning Advisory Team – Research into current and future technologies that would enhance teaching and learning in the L2L framework and the ethos of the school.
  • Provide training and support for staff through partnership with the GDDL and Global Teacher Academy
  • Liaise with a range of parties to drive digital learning within the Learning to Learn Framework: 
    • Global Teacher Academy Director and Global Director of Education
    • RMT & Other community leaders 
    • Regional Principals and Directors of Study

About You

Essential:

  • Classroom teaching experience where Digital Learning tools are utilised effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • School leadership experience.

Desirable:

  • Formal teaching qualifications at degree level are required, along with proven competency in extensive relevant experience and / or relevant post graduate qualifications.
