Six Degrees Executive has partnered with Australia’s fastest growing retailer as they build their Technology team and source a Senior Integration Developer. This role will play a hands-on component in collaboration with the Integration Lead to design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft and Azure Integration Suite.

Over the last 12 months, our clients’ total sales were $565 million which is up by +12.9% from the previous financial year, with online sales up 4.5% to circa 20% and their Technology footprint is only growing. This leading organisation is Australia’s largest omni-channel retailer within their market making this a fantastic opportunity to contribute to their success within a supportive team environment.
 
Note: This role is based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and will require you to be onsite 2-3 days a week. They will however be moving to Chadstone shopping centre mid-2025.
 
About the role
 
The Senior Integration Developer will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
 
Integration Development:

  • Collaborate with the Integration Lead to design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft, Azure Integration Suite (Logic App, API Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Functions), SQL Server, SSIS, and MongoDB, MQ and other development languages and tools.
  • Hands on develop and maintain integration solutions according to project requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain CICD pipeline using Jenkins, git, Azure devops and other CICD tools

 Technical Expertise and Support:

  • Take ownership of integration tasks, from development to testing and deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified timelines.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide input on solution design and architecture decisions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, providing production support as needed to ensure system availability and reliability.

Data and System Migration:

  • Participate in data and system migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and system functionality throughout the migration process.

Performance Testing and Optimization:

  • Assist and support performance tests to assess the scalability and efficiency of integration solutions.

Reporting to the Integration Lead, this role will support Solution Design, Continuous Improvement and Performance Testing & Optimization to name a few areas.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will need (but not limited to) the following:

  • 5-7 + years of software integration experience with 2-3 years focussed on MuleSoft
  • Azure Suite integration experience, ideally within an ecommerce setting
  • Experience working with Legacy platforms (such as SQL Server or SSIS)
  • Ability to redesign and develop new platforms
  • Have a Can-Do attitude who enjoys supporting others and achieving outcomes
  • Can work with Third-Party software vendors
  • RDBM to SQL experience (a bonus)
