About the role 

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses in ICU for West Sydney to take casual shifts in Westmead/ Hawkesbury/ Macquarie. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional capable of providing quality healthcare services to patients within facilities while faithfully and consistently adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Continuous monitoring of vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms. 
  • Performing invasive procedures such as inserting central lines, arterial lines, and managing ventilators.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Responding quickly and efficiently to emergencies, including cardiac arrests and respiratory distress.
  • Implementing advanced life support measures as needed.

To be successful in the role you will have: 

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Registered ICU/HDU/CCU Nurse.
  • AHPRA Registration is mandatory.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Valid practical ALS.
  • Valid flu vaccination and Covid vaccination history
