About the role:

This role will provide high quality, evidenced based care to Cardiology patients of the Townsville University Hospital. Provide supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care and responsibility for teaching junior medical staff, medical students, nursing and allied health staff.

What’s on offer?

Temporary full-time role up to 6 months.

Generous remuneration package up to $15,799 p.m. comprising: base salary rates between $4822.20 and $5591.00 p.f. (L4-L9), professional development assistance, 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% loading, and 12.75% superannuation.

Requirements

If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight – (L4-L7). Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Pre-employment screening required. A 6-month probationary period may apply. VPD risk role.
