About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Leading Hand Mechanical Tradesperson to join our maintenance team at InfraBuild Wire in Mayfield.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Daily planning and problem solving of service events
  • Providing support and training to the mechanical trade crew
  • Keeping accurate records of completed work
  • Compliance with quality and safety processes
  • Undertaking fitting work as required

We would love to hear from hardworking and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  • Certificate III Mechanical Trade certificate is essential
  • Supervisory insights with the ability to delegate work
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • SAP exposure
  • Strong focus on safety and initiative with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with a proactive approach
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Forklift, Dogman, EWP, Working at heights and Confined spaces qualifications

Whilst a background in heavy manufacturing or mining would be preferred, it is not essential
