About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at our Carrington site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for a wide range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations, and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment. This role will also involve assisting in managing shutdowns and providing maintenance support to ensure our operations run smoothly.
Your Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you'll be responsible for:
- Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as they occur.
- Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as requested.
- Record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance.
About You
We're looking for someone with a relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting, and turning, boiler making, or similar. You'll need proven fault-finding capabilities, be proactive and safety-focused, and have excellent communication skills. Computer literacy, self-motivation, and reliability are essential, as well as the ability to work at heights and within confined spaces. Qualifications for these tasks would be preferred, but not essential.
