We are looking for another Nurse to work across both Emergency & Critical Care & Hospital Care

About our Nurses:
Nurses are at the heart of our team, and we would not be able to do what we do without our amazing nurses. In this dual role you will;

• Provide care to our patients from admission through to discharge
• Work with a passionate team working together to achieve amazing results across a variety of complex cases
• Be provided with training and development by our dedicated nurse educators
• Work with our Critical Care team
• Support our specialist teams across the hospital

About You:

We are looking for a passionate Emergency & Critical Care & Hospital Care Nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for a permanent full-time nurse however will consider part-time for the right person. We are looking for a nurse with the following skills:

• A keen interest in emergency and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
• An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in general anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. A training program will be developed for the right person to support their ongoing learning and development
• Confidence working in an extremely busy environment

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse
• Previous experience in emergency nursing would be highly regarded but is not essential
• Availability to work weekends and overnights on a rotating roster
