Job Description

We’re looking for a real artist with real talent and the technical know-how to join our games team. This role is perfect for someone who is not only highly skilled but passionate about art in all its forms and who has the desire to create but also thrives in the technical world of developers and software engineers.

Working tightly with game designers, mathematicians, and software developers. You will be responsible for the creation of exceptional art assets in both illustrations and animations. As a professional artist, you will be comfortable with adapting your technique to create a variety of slot games in different styles and genres. You will be involved throughout the development process including concepts, design, documentation, implementation, and marketing.

You will be well versed with the adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects as well as the Esoteric Spine for creating efficient 2D animation and effects.

Your passion for detail will require a technical flare to deliver assets within software tolerances and web browser debug knowledge will be highly regarded. 

You work well under pressure and efficiently to meet deadlines while achieving the highest possible standards, whether individually or as part of a team. You are a tenacious communicator ensuring any creative direction or decisions are clearly understood and all stakeholders are aligned to achieve deadlines.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment (Games/ Digital Design/ Animation/ Commercial Arts) Proficient in Photoshop or equivalent software Proficient using Esoteric Spine 2D software Solid understanding of the fundamentals. This is not a junior position Experience with digital illustration, digital and traditional drawing, character design and logo design Superior eye for light, value, composition and colour Animation and motion graphic skills  Ability to develop, communicate and present ideas Demonstrated ability to work according to technical specs and deliver results within schedule constraints Excellent collaboration and personal management skills (task planning, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting)

Desirable Skills

Web Browser debug knowledge and experience will be highly regarded. Storyboarding AI generation Qualification/ Bachelor/ Diploma in Interactive Entertainment, Graphic Design or Animation Experience in interactive gaming software or gambling industry Understanding of methodologies including agile development experience (eg Scrum)
