Reporting into the Head of Cyber Security, Allianz Australia is looking for a talented Cyber Security Analyst to support in the continuous improvement of Allianz Australia’s security posture; through the management of security threats, project secure by design, cyber incident management and delivery of strategic projects. This role is focused more on the governance side of Cyber Security and is not a hands on system admin role.
You'll be responsible for:
- Day to day management of security service request.
- Secure by design - Perform analysis and provide security recommendations across projects and/or business processes and influence key stakeholders to deliver necessary control enhancements.
- Vulnerability management - Track and support the resolution of security vulnerabilities and penetration testing findings.
- Incident management - Assist with incident management for cyber security events and incidents, as well as assisting in co-ordinating business unit response and remediation.
- Reporting – produce report and metrics to provide insight into the effectiveness of security controls and manage SLA of IT service provider.
Important to your success:
- Passionate about Cyber Security. For example able to understand the meaning of “Jr frpher lbhe shgher“.
- At least 1-2 years experience in cyber security is essential.
- This is a business focus role and require strong communication skills to non technical stakeholders.
- This is not a hand on system administration role and you will not be configuring any security technologies. However it will be look upon highly if you have previous experience managing security technologies and/or IT infrastructure.
- Ability to influence business stakeholder and manage IT provider’s service level.
- Self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
