You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

Specialist training opportunities Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support WorkersOpportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability. 

We currently have casual opportunities working accross locations in the North Shore. This service operates 24x7. You will need to be available for 3-4 days (20 hours minimum) for coverage over a variety of morning, afternoon and overnight ‘waking shifts’.

We can consider local candidates to the North Shore and surrounding ares.

Your duties will include:

Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handlingSupporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independentSupporting clients to engage and participate in their communityBuilding positive relationships with our clientsTransporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) is preferredLive locally to the locations mentioned aboveTriple COVID-19 vaccinated
