Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team on a casual basis. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized support in a group home setting, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
- Support clients in making their own choices and building skills for independence, promoting their autonomy and self-advocacy.
- Encourage clients to engage and participate in their community, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
- Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Transport clients, using CPA's minivan, as required.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) is preferred.
- Live locally to the North Shore area.
- A competitive hourly rate, plus superannuation and penalty rates.
- Automatic 25% loading on all casual positions.

You will receive comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development opportunities. This includes:
- Specialist training opportunities.
- Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers.
- Opportunity to complete a nationally recognized qualification, such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability.
- We invest $5,000 in training in your first year.
