Your day-to-day

  • Provide support in coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve self and team member’s performance/development
  • In conjunction with Front Office Manager contribute to regular staff meetings that focus of morale building, teamwork, operational issues and driving guest experience
  • Maintain cashiers float, ensuring accurate daily report of all money received, performs the audit balances and prepares all works for audit
  • Upselling of rooms and food and beverage offerings
  • Deliver a memorable experience to our guests with a personal service whilst not forgetting to recognise and record guest preferences
  • Demonstrate awareness of WH&S policies and procedures and ensure all work practices are carried out within the guidelines. Ensue timely and accurate reporting of hazards
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures

What we need from you

  • 2 years’ related experience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management or related field preferred
  • Ability to manage in a competitive environment 
  • Ability to manage complex relationships
  • Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team to drive an engaged winning culture
  • Strong Leadership skills in managing a team to drive for results
  • Flexibility – Night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
