The Role
The Technical Integrity Officer will assist in maintaining the Accredited Maintenance Organisation (MSO) accreditation of the Joint Logistics Unit (Victoria) Puckapunyal in accordance with Defence’s Land Materiel Safety Frameworks.

Duties of the position include:

• Manage and conduct Quality Assurance audits to ensure compliance with technical regulations and policy.
• Assisting with the development and review of processes on logistics compliance activities.
• Generating reports on audit activities and compliance performance for management.
• Complying with legislative requirements.
• Supporting the design of local engineering proposals and associated tasks.

JLU(V) is seeking candidates who are able to use their skills and experience as described in the role description.

Our ideal candidate:

Will have a Trade qualification in an Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering discipline. Has the ability to drive heavy vehicles in the ADF and obtain relevant qualifications. Has an understanding of Quality Assurance audits and technical regulatory inspections of Land Materiel. Will be able to read and apply technical data to a finished product to ensure compliance to a high standard. Demonstrate an understanding of how to adhere to national standards and/or code regulation regarding compliance and quality assurance. Can apply existing knowledge to identify and report outcomes of inspections on Land Materiel (ADF equipment) such as armoured vehicles, truck and trailer platforms, weapons and electrical systems. Be able to engage with stakeholders. Adhere to Defence values and behaviours.
