Position: Motor Mechanic

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $74,200 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Port Lincoln SA 5606

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join their team located in Port Lincoln, South Australia.

Tasks required include:

  • Diagnose, service and repair vehicles
  • Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
  • Brake and clutch service
  • Service and repair of gearbox and transmission
  • Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups
  • Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs
  • Keep the workshop clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III including at least two (2) years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in relevant trade
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience as a Mechanic
  • Current driver's licence
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Has proficiency in diagnostic tools and vehicle electrical systems.
