Overview:

  • Manages the data governance and data integrity functions within the Data, Analytics and Insights (DAI) branch. The functions are responsible for the initiation, implementation and management of data governance and data integrity for curated activity-based data assets and the associated products and services for the Department for Health and Wellbeing.
  • Responsible for overseeing SA Health’s data governance framework and associated work program, such as facilitating and coordinating formal data governance roles, supporting instruments, defining, implementing and managing data standards, rules and processes to ensure enterprise consistency in the management of data assets.
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity of curated data assets.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

  • Depending on work requirements the incumbent may be transferred to other locations across SA Health to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities either on a permanent or temporary basis subject to relevant provisions of the Public Sector Act 2009 for Public Sector employees or the SA Health (Health Care Act) Human Resources Manual for Health Care Act employees.
  • The incumbent may be required to participate in Counter Disaster activities including attendance, as required, at training programs and exercises to develop the necessary skills required to participate in responses in the event of a disaster and/or major incident.
