Production Officer

About this role

Holcim is currently expanding their Brisbane team and as a result, we are looking for a Production Officer for our Murarrie Plant.

Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail.

Start times can vary depending on operational requirements, however you can expect to start between 5am and 6am most mornings, with the occasional earlier start required.

Duties and responsibilities:

Support and display a strong safety culture at all times Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes Allocating and assigning loads to drivers Stock management and coordination of deliveries  Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance Provide high level customer service to our clients Yard duties, including operation of forklift & front-end loader

About you:

You will be a team player with a strong work ethic & a genuine interest in building a career with us.

We will train you up on our systems, however, you will come to us with a good level of computer skills (word, & excel). You will have a keen interest in learning new computer systems. This is a great opportunity for someone to expand on their current skills, in a dynamic & fast paced work environment. In addition, Holcim offers genuine opportunities for career advancement.

The key to succeeding in this role is your excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), the ability to pick up computer systems quickly, and your outstanding customer service.

You will be required to pass a police check, as well as a full medical which includes functional assessment, and drug & alcohol screening.

You must also hold unrestricted Australian work rights, with no limitation on hours or duration of employment. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Student or Holiday Visa's.
