Operate and Assist

Opportunity to join our team as a Quarry Operator at our Edmonton Quarry in Cairns, Queensland. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager, and we are seeking experienced and non-experienced operators, that have a passion for safety and values a strong work ethic.
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work up to 12-hour days and 5.5-day weeks during our busy periods


In your new role with us, you will:

  • Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
  • Operating the crushing and screening plant
  • General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
  • During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed

  • Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised
