Our client is a well-established, privately owned industrial group who are currently growing at a record pace. As a result, they are looking to add a Chief Financial Officer to the senior leadership team.
  
As the key business partner to the CEO, the CFO role will play a pivotal part in the business helping to set and drive strategy over the coming years. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships across the group with a range of stakeholders to help drive positive business outcomes. 

The key challenges of the role will include:

  • Corporatisation of a fast-growing, privately-owned organisation
  • Ability to deliver outcomes by influence and partnering with a value-add attitude
  • Increase finance capability including improving the quality of management/board reporting
  • Creating and executing a framework for a finance transformation
  • Advising on potential business acquisitions & divestment through tactical negotiations and due diligence 

The ideal candidate for the role will be: 

  • CA/CPA Qualified 
  • Well experienced in a similar role
  • Experienced within a business-to-business style organisation ideally within industrial services sector  
  • Experience in designing and implementing best practice across a finance function 
  • Have great interpersonal skills to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Experienced in building, managing and developing successful teams
