Selection criteria:
We are seeking a suitably experienced, qualified, professional, committed, positive, "Christ centred, child focused" Catholic educator who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional desire; along with;
• An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
• Team player, with a proven history of developing positive, professional relationships in their current / previous community.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning in a Middle / Upper Classroom.
• Evidence of data-informed teaching practice through the application of continuous monitoring strategies of achievement.
• Experience and passion for 21st century learning, incorporating explicit teaching, flexible learning and inquiry based learning.
• A proven history of initiating and/or supporting whole school improvement practices and extra-curricular activities.
• A professional who values the importance of teaching Social and Emotional Wellbeing to enhance and support the wellbeing of our students.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment for all students.
• A team orientated, positive, professional, cooperative and collaborative educator who values and strives for continual professional growth and values feedback.
• A life long learner with a high level of professionalism, understanding of confidentiallity, empathy and positive interpersonnal skills.
