Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic trucks to deliver for customers? As one of our night shift Seasonal Casual Truck Drivers with our Brisbane Parcel Facility based in Redbank, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that  

We require 6 night shift HR/HC Drivers from 10:30PM-6:21AM Sunday to Thursday nights to start either 6th or 20th October. This vacancy pays competitive casual rates along with a 30% penalty for night shift and tonnage allowance per shift along with 12% superannuation.
 

You’ll be 

  • Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery  
  • Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   
  • Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups   
  • Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  
     

About you

  • You’re available to work from October, through our peak period until January approximately
  • You hold a relevant HR license (HC even better)  
  • You’re safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  
  • You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  
  • You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights  
  • You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.

  • You'll be allocated a regular shift time, and work with a great bunch of people
  • A higher rate of pay apply for applicable shifts (penalty rates)
  • You'll benefit from a 12% superannuation rate
  • We may have opportunities for ongoing work beyond the peak season
