About the role
The Practice Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Fitzroy Medical Clinic and provides high level support to General Practitioners and other clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of the clinics.
Major areas include oversight of billings, management of rosters and scheduling, setting up of new doctors, and ordering equipment/consumables along with management of other resources and trouble-shooting issues as they arise.

Your duties include:
Provide liaison between GPs and work in conjunction with the A/Director- Medical Services also undertaking other medical projects as they arise Collaborate with the GPs to meet client expectations and key performance indicators Be the first point of communication and liaison for the GP's within cohealth Develop agreed communication processes including type and frequency to allow all staff to actively participate in the running of the clinics Oversee the client services through the team leadership including site procedures, client requirements, training, and supervision for the team leadersWhat cohealth offers:

Demonstrated experience in internal and external Stakeholder Management Demonstrated experience in a similar role Ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and service improvement Proven high-level administrative and organisational skills Demonstrated solid communication and problem-solving skillsAll appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
