About the Role

The role of the System Engineer entails designing, implementing, and supporting networked computer systems in adherence to the standards established by the Global Infrastructure leadership team at both regional and global levels. This encompasses the planning and configuration of hardware and software, network maintenance, and continual technical support for business systems. Responsibilities also involve coordinating day-to-day activities related to the maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure, offering assistance for local and regional issues, and aligning with Global Cyber Security benchmarks. Additionally, the System Engineer will contribute to security-focused projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, configuring, and installing hardware and software systems.
• Maintaining network infrastructure and providing ongoing technical support for business systems.
• Overseeing IT functions to deliver high-quality support for local and regional business and ensuring the stability of the IT infrastructure.
• Coordinating day-to-day activities for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure and providing support for local and regional topics.
• Supporting Global Cyber Security benchmarks and assisting with security-related projects.
• Monitoring and analysing system performance to ensure optimal operations.
• Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

About You

• 8+ years’ experience in general listing in IT with experience for full stack infrastructure
• Experience in network management, window server manager and hyper-visor (ESX) management
• SCCM/Azure Cloud/SaaS experience
• Relevant IT certification with Cisco, Microsoft, IT degree, CCNA, CCNE, MCSA, MCSE
• Identifying and eliminating barriers to solution adoption.
• Innovation orientated, user-centric technology mindset and solution development skills for solution adoption.
• Methodical & analytical mindset; fact-based decision making and communication.
