Position at North Shore Veterinary Hospital
VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic patient care focused full time Veterinary Nurse to join our busy referral hospital team at the North Shore Veterinary Hospital. We are located in Artarmon, NSW
The remuneration for this position is $70k - $80k. Overseas sponsorship can be considered for the ideal candidate by VetPartners Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled, passionate team to deliver all aspects of advanced nursing care to an exceptional standard. Based in a brand new, purpose-built hospital with the latest equipment in an accessible location on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

Your role and responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and procedures
- Providing compassionate patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing post-operative recovery
- Maintaining a clean and sterile surgical suite and equipment
- Utilising your excellent communication skills to educate pet owners on excellent care, treatments, and medication administration
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing client files
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure efficient workflow and effective patient management
- Supporting and contributing to the positive team culture by fostering a friendly and supportive environment
Essential criteria:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience and the confidence to perform advanced veterinary nursing tasks
- Energy and a genuine passion for the profession
- Effective Time Management and Organisation skills
- A strong work ethic and practical approach
