About the role

As a change management expert in the Business Information Solutions team, you will lead change management, communication and stakeholder engagement on transformative projects, collaborate with diverse teams and deliver a pipeline of technology projects end-to-end shaping organisational success.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Ensure that the necessary people, processes, and technology activities are effectively assessed, analysed, planned, executed and measured in accordance with Prosci ADKAR’s change management methodology.
  • Coach people managers and business leaders on transitioning employees from their current to future state to maximise employee adoption, realise V/Line's ROI, and grow change maturity.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and detailed plans in a transparent and structured manner to ensure the achievement of project benefits and outcomes.
  • Work in conjunction with IT, HR, learning, industrial relations, and communication professionals, and be guided through V/Line’s governance and industry standard frameworks.
  • Devise communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans with senior change managers, project managers and sponsors, taking into consideration all relevant project risks associated with successful change.
  • Assist project managers to integrate change management activities into their projects, develop strategies and activities to engage key stakeholders, and ensure active engagement of all parties. 

About you

  • Demonstrated experience identifying stakeholders, assessing change impacts, planning and executing change management activities
  • 2+ years’ experience leading organisational change management on projects, particularly in operational environments (technology projects preferred but not essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute change deliverables end-to-end on large/complex projects
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Must possess Prosci ADKAR certification
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications or Change Management, desirable
  • Proficiency in the Office 365 productivity suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.,)
  • Superior written communication skills with demonstrated experience planning and crafting change communications

Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019 / Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019).
