The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to join us in our Pilbara Energy team in Port Headland Western Australia on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be supporting the team in developing and sustaining a continuous improvement and innovative culture that seeks to deliver efficiency improvements, improved production levels, reliability gains and improved cost structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining gas turbine generators, Frame 6B and GE LM6000
- Operate and maintain a 35MW Battery Storage System.
- Operating and maintaining all supporting auxiliary equipment for above.
- Monitoring and adjusting electrical network parameters to maintain optimal operation.
- Troubleshooting problems.
- Lead and Supervise a team of Operations and Maintenance technicians
- Plan and execute the Annual Work Plan and Stay in Business Capital works
- Ensuring a neat and orderly work area following safety standards.
Your background
- Working knowledge of power generation, generating equipment and control systems.
- Holder of an A class electrical licence and have experience in the power generation field.
- Proficiency in monitoring and adjusting the process to maintain optimal operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills, with an ability to work independently or in a team.
About the Team
The Port Headland team consists mostly of a FIFO work force, who work on a 2 week on / 2 week off roster. Based mostly out of Perth, our team operate and maintain our Pilbara assets which include solar and gas power generation, battery storage, and electricity transmission infrastructure.
