Curragh Mine is one of the largest open-cut coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin and located only 12 kilometers from the local township of Blackwater.

We currently have vacancies for experienced Dragline Operators in the Curragh Mining team working on the Lifestyle Roster.

We are looking for people who have drive, motivation and a determination to succeed in their mining career and who will have: -

  • Proven experience operating Draglines and Dozers in an open cut coal mine. 
  • Relevant coal mining certifications;
  • A strong focus on safety, productivity and teamwork;
  • Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment;
  • High level of motivation and initiative;
  • The ability to work autonomously without direct supervision; and
  • A commitment to a positive safety culture.
