Annesley is located at ourJuniper Rowthorpe Village in Bentley, that hosts four seperate aged care homes, as well as community care and retirement living.
About the Role:
We are seeking an exemplary leader who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and lead a dedicated team at our well established Juniper Annesley home that offers 94 beds providing a comfortable and homely atmosphere to our residents, includingresidents living with dementia. In addition to residential aged care, Juniper Annesly is proud to provide the Transition Care Program (TCP) that offers short term care for up to 12 weeks for those that need additional support at the end of a hospital stay. This goal-orientated program looks to improving health and mobility so that customers can continue to live independently at home.
To succeed as our Residential Manager you will be a dynamic, compassionate and energetic person. Your career history will demonstrate your ability to develop teams, provide a customer-focused environment, manage complex operations, achieve results, orchestrate mutually beneficial outcomes, and navigate a highly regulated industry undergoing reform.
We welcome candidates with experience from aged care, health, disability, and other human services. This position is supported by a breadth of professionals across clinical, hospitality and care disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring care provided is customer focused, tailored to individual needs and provides moments of joy for all our customers.
- Maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Fostering effective relationships with residents and their representatives, seeking and acting on feedback.
- Lead, manage, and develop a motivated, kind and compassionate team.
- Formulate, allocate, and monitor budgets in consultation with Corporate Services.
- Ensuring roster costs, income, and expenses are managed within budget.
- Identify necessary changes and manage transitions within areas of responsibility.
- Participate in risk assessment, hazard control activities, and fire safety programs.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a qualification in Business, Leadership, or Clinical fields, including current AHPRA registration if applicable.
- Working knowledge of the Quality Aged Care Standards.
- Leadership and people management experience with the ability to effect change.
- Experience in business and financial plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in information management systems for reporting and decision-making.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and sound communication, both verbal and written.
- National Criminal History Check and statutory declaration relating to criminal convictions.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs and other business software.
- Satisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks including Bankruptcy and Police Clearance.
