About the department
Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with a 100-year legacy of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. As part of our Supply Chain organization, you will be joining a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our products to meet patient needs. Based in our brand-new modern office in North Sydney, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and have the opportunity to contribute to our exciting growth trajectory and pipeline in new products and therapy areas.

The position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring sufficient inventory to assist our business objectives. 

Specific duties include but not limited to:

  • Own the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process for allocated portfolios, ensuring all meetings, measures, and activities are completed on time.
  • Serve as the Supply Chain Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for several products, engaging with key personnel associated with those product portfolios and build relationships with internal and external customers while maintaining Novo Nordisk's values and integrity.
  • Manage inventory for the allocated product portfolio, considering factors such as lead-time, customer demands, and product shelf life.
  • Oversee consignment inventory and collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory to meet customer requirements and ensure all transactions are conducted timely and correctly in Novo Nordisk information systems, in compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Develop logical tools to review and assess relevant data, identify process improvements, and assist the Supply Chain Manager on projects. Foster a supply chain business partnering environment through high-level interaction with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with exposure to the medical industry being a big plus.
  • APICS Certification and Lean 6 Sigma qualifications would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge in SAP (Supply Chain module) and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential.
  • Must either be an Australian Citizen or have a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
