Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Producer to join our 2GB team on a full time permanent basis. Working closely with the shows, producers, and marketing teams, you will play a key role in driving digital audiences to our website and app. Your responsibilities will include cutting audio clips, publishing articles to the website, and creating compelling social content for 2GB's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X

Nine Radio brands include 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR and 9Podcasts delivering live talk radio stations, digital streaming, catch up and original podcasts. Our powerful and agile audio platforms foster an interactive relationship with our audiences - acting as a direct line in to the moods, opinions and thoughts of diverse Australian communities.

The Digital Content Team supports the Talk Radio stations by delivering audio and digital content distribution across web, app and social channels to engage our audience, encourage discoverability and drive digital adoption of our Talk Radio content.

Day to day you will:

Produce and distribute digital content for 2GB, 9Podcasts, associated social media accounts and relevant channels within Nine Radio’s digital strategy; 

Cover breaking news and showcase the best of our audio across all platforms; 

Use your digital content expertise to help Radio and 9Podcasts production teams ideate and create incredible content; 

Use measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Brandwatch, Triton Webcast Omny to monitor online performance and gain a better understanding of audience patterns;

Share audience and content insights with programs to optimise digital content;

Ensure all content is created and updated in a timely fashion to the highest possible editorial standards 

Qualifications

What we would like to see on your resume;

Experience in Radio and Digital Content teams will be highly regarded

Operational experience,managing teams and schedules

Strong understanding of social media platforms and strategies

Knowledge of digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch, Omny and Triton

Experience using EVS, Adobe Suite, Canva, Media Proxy, Omny, Word Press

Familiar with content strategies and SEO

You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly, often in difficult situations. You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.
